| ‘As of late 2025, over 50 private schools in the UK have closed or announced closures following the introduction of the 20% VAT levy on fees on January 1, 2025. While some institutions explicitly cited the tax as the reason, others attributed closures to the combined pressures of VAT and rising operational costs. Further, around 100 to over 200 additional closures are expected over the next three years.’ Well done Reeves!👎🏻 Labour Champagne Socialists & Lefty Luvvies will be able to absorb the extra cost but the families who scrimp and save to enable their children to go to an independent school are the ones who will be affected. Can you imagine how traumatic it must be for the children to experience such a huge upheaval in their young life? Is Corbyn still being vocal in dissent of Chagos? |
