I bought an item recently from Jojo Maman Bebe in the Exchange.  It was for home delivery.  The assistant swiped my card and wrote down an order number on a piece of Jojo paper.  She did not give me a proper receipt. The item arrived without any documents, other than how to assemble it.  I therefore have no receipt to check off against my bank statement. I went into the store today to query the fact they had not give me a receipt and she said that was their policy - they give you an order number that allows them to track it on their system.  She said a proper printed receipt should be sent with the item but I pointed out that there was nothing in the box.  The Assistant Manager said that is the fault of the company that sends out the goods. Surely when someone swipes your card in a shop they should give you a proper receipt?
