If the shop/supplier is registered for VAT (most will be) then they must give a VAT receipt if a VAT registered customer requests one. Failure to do so can result in the supplier being fined. If you ask for a VAT receipt the shop will assume you are registered for VAT and therefore should supply you with a Vat receipt, problem solved!!! |
