Yes they give receipts for purchases made in the shop and taken home by the customer.  However my item was ordered from their catalogue and delivered to my home, but paid for in the shop. Customer services phoned me yesterday and said this was usual procedure not to give receipts in store for such purchases and that there should have been a detailed invoice/delivery note with the item.  I would they are quite impressive when it comes to dealing with my complaint about the faulty item.  A new part is being sent to me, along with the paperwork that was never received.
