Councillor Maddan says that "demand for primary schools in Thamesfield is at a very high level", but surely those primary school children are going to need secondary school places as well if parents aren't moving out of London like before. Here's a thought, and I make no apologies for bringing my "pet" topic on this Forum onto this thread - why don't Wandsworth Council offer the animal hospital another site in the Borough, somewhere away from residents, and turn that site in Clarendon Drive into either an extension to Hotham or OLV or an entirely new school. That would leave the Putney Hospital site open to the possibility of being another secondary. The sound of children playing is far more preferable to the sound of weapon dogs barking and going for one another as far as I am concerned. |
