Should the government be doing more to ease the plight of all the stranded travellers? I think so. Surely after 9/11 the government should have prepared contingency plans for a no flying event. Even now, several days into the disruption the British and Europena goverments should have a coach network in place between key British & European cities/ports,ferries/etc. Spending hours and hours on a coach may not be some people's first choice but at least give them a choice.
