Having studied a bit about human anatomy at one time, I first then heard about homeostasis, which is the body balancing itself naturally, which it does well and efficiently (making a lot of pharmaceutical remedies pointless and obsolete). So, if you believe that, it's not too much of a stretch to think that the planet has a similar system. Call me an old hippy, but things have a way of sorting themselves out, even if the human race manages to make itself extinct, there will be many species that will carry on and all will be well again. |
