I thought the council was going to introduce curbs on these dogs and their owners, e.g. by cancelling their council flat tenancy if they owned one. Could someone remind me what action is being taken? The chipping scheme is fine but still open to abuse and anyway we all know the Dangerous Dogs Act is completely unworkable. All these crosses do just enough to dilute the "pure" DNA of the proscribed dogs thus putting them outside the Act's provisions. Has any party promised to review the Act? |
