I don't live in Thamesfield, but I do sympathise with your stance on this one. I had no idea that there was an animal hospital in the area. I live up near the heath, but I just see more and more of these dogs everyday. They are rarely on leads either. My encounter with one last week was not too pleasant. As Guy mentions they are being used to intimidate people. I really think that these breeds should be banned full stop, but I suppose that this will never happen. I am not sure that any new legislation will be that effective. I can see the problem getting worse, that is until the popularity of these breeds wanes. |
