Speeding problem imho is massively exaggerated.  All these streets in this leafy part of Putney have wide pedestrian areas so little bother from cars.  I live in the middle of area and bring kid every day on bike to Lower Richmond rd.  Never a problem.  Let's also not forget there are only a few roads who take the "brunt" of commuter traffic:  Dealtry, Holroyd, Genoa, Hazlewell, Gwendolan and I live on one of them. Lot of money wasted that could be used for better use like repairing roads like Carslake etc. Thamesfield has imo much more need for 20mph restriction.  I can't but help thinking there are people with "influence in Wandsworth" who pursue this issue for their own personal reasons.  I will vote NO and hope that most common sense inhabitants of the area will do the same!
