Can I also say in response to the comment "residential parking in (most of) Putney is always a problem" - the RSPCA have no special powers, that I am aware of, that give them the right to be treated differently from an other resident or business in the conservation area. They have a car park, yet their thousands of clients from Hounslow, Richmond, Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham, etc have been given exceptional parking arrangements in a non high street road. The residents have been pushed out to make way for the visitors to a private organisation which already has its own carpark.
The animal hospital has outgrown the site, in our opinion, and is now trying to build on its carpark. Where on earth are the lorries that service the site going to go - the middle of the road, in front of residents homes?
