Hello Robert,

Of course councils work better when in conjunction politically with the main Government.

The cuts in funding to Councils started in 2010, under the Coalition government, and continued to be cut by subsequent Conservative and Labour governments.

I am not a fan of the current government by any stretch of the imagination but am delighted that Starmer has said no to joining the Iran war. 

But above all, with all these calls for Starmer to go, can you confidently and honestly say who is in the slightest suitable to replace him?  Could it be that the medicine is worse than the illness?
