I can understand the Labour backlash because whether you like it or not your Council tends to work better when in conjunction politically with the main Government.  Our current Government can’t call an election because of the chaos it would cause it says.  We are already in chaos because of the decisions of this current Government. We now have more years of Starmer flip flopping major decisions while Councils try to balance books underneath the decisions main Government make.
