I don’t really get why Trump’s every action  and utterance is taken with the seriousness that it clearly doesn’t deserve. Steve is happy for the BBC to pay him whatever her asks for in the hope that he leaves us alone.
Isn’t that a pathetic stance?
Of course it is, but that really isn’t the goal. The aim is to dismantle the BBC  because it is the most respected news organisation in the world and this irritates the commercial and biased organisations like Fox and GBNews, the Telegraph and Times etc. It’s a commercial attack on the BBC. Trump’s law suit is a try on, a distraction, a missile fired in, that’s all. Who really cares how it’s calculated? Not me.
The real question is how do we protect the institution from relentless attacks for the sake of honest, impartial journalism, that is occasionally flawed.
