That is the key, Steven.
Trump must prove that the Panorama programme published a false statement.  In my view, they did not.  They put two statements he made together, even if they omitted sections of them.  The speech given by Trump is available online and, for all intents and purposes, they did not put words into his mouth that were not there.
As I said before, the BBC extracted bits of his speech, but they were words he did say.  Moreover, in his antepenultimate paragraph there was no mention of the "..everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard."  On the contrary.
The fact that he owns a golf course in Scotland is neither here nor there.  Does he have substantial business interests in this country and the programme has damaged his reputation which would result in financial loss?  Hmmmmmmmm, that is pushing it too far!
