| Caroline, I think you are missing the point. Neither John or myself were unaware of the Tideway Tunnel plans. In fact we supported the resistence to the main works being built at Barn Elms. Our point is that the WPCC has failed in its duty to keep everyone informed about the impact on Beverley path. They will have had to enter into legal agreements setting out the length and extent of the works on the Common. But they have yet again failed to be open with residents. I wrote to them a few days ago asking for information and requesting that maps and details are added to their website. The result? Complete silence. When I do get emails from them they are unsigned and anonymous, which is just plain bad manners. Nick |
