| "Large infrastructure projects have statutory powers to ensure they happen". This is true but the acquisition of statutory powers concerning Putney Lower Common took place in 2013-2014. This was when the Development & Consent Order for the many Thames Tunnel construction sites was under examination by the Planning Inspectorate. There were a number of public hearings at the time which several of us attended. Thames Tideway will have the documents referring to the various sites which were under examination at that time. As for some payback to WPCC now that the works have started, perhaps we should bring this up at the Community Liaison Group on Feb 7th. |
