Additionally as a point most politicians are at heart wanting to remain, the people that they allegedly represent are the ones that despite project fear on the whole want to leave. There is a massive deficit in parliament for supporting the will of the electorate, but here as ever the complaint is that one mp from a remain area supported her government and own manifesto pledge. Meanwhile labour have reversed their manifesto from the recent election that in part enabled them to do so well but they moved in line with the preferred view on this forum so no one highlighting the hypocracy on that. Having said that the biggest argument I can now see for being in the EU is the horrific level of our current crop of politicians who in the political infighting led by remain champions are leaving Britain in a far more unprepared place than it should have been - a pox on all their parties! ;-) |
