| Justine as Mayor? Where did you hear/see this rumour? In any case, no. Just no. She has lost all credibility with many Putney voters. She will have one hell of a job retaining her seat at the next GE having reduced her majority by such a huge amount last year that Putney is now a marginal! So perhaps that's why she thinks she can throw her hat into the mayoral ring? If indeed Justine was 'promised' something by the PM to vote with the party then she has no right to represent her constituents who voted overwhelmingly to remain. She has been a member of the remainers on the back benches after her sacking as Minister early this year so what caused her to change her mind? |
