| They want our money, Andy. Long article in the FAZ March 2017 in the wake of May triggering Article 50 pointed out that as the UK is the second largest net contributor to the EU budget, someone else, most probably Germany, will have to pick up the tab. Made me wonder why Mutti hadn't been a bit more flexible when Cameron went to Berlin pleading for whatever it was he wanted. And recent articles in UK newspapers suggest that after Brexit the CAP won't be quite so generous to French farmers. Who knows. |
