Meanwhile endless disunity in the cabinet makes the chances of reaching any sort of workable deal even more remote. We are being hugely let down by the government. And while Brexiteers focus on the costs of membership they never weigh up the costs of departure which are far, far higher. Galileo is just the latest example of the unforeseen consequences. Not that I agree with the EU stance on excluding us but the problem has only arisen because we are leaving the EU. |
