| Just to answer Roland's last question ("by what magical management process do you imagine those profits will come from?") for Andy, it's straightforward: by cutting wages to staff and providing a poorer service. That's exactly why people hate the outsourcing racket, along with the stupid blind assumption that the private sector is automatically more efficient than the public sector. If Andy is so convinced of this, perhaps he could explain why our railways are such a mess. |
