| The police apparently say that they, and the local authority, have to work within the law. If it transpires there is some legal obstacle the law clearly needs to be changed. I doubt if there is any substance in the concerns which have been raised, but now we have to wait weeeks on end for that to be confirmed by the Information Commissioner. |
