There are a number of areas covered in the Site Specific documents directly relevant to Putney.

They are the URR with 6 sites affected with acceptable heights up to 12 storeys( Tileman, 113 URR, VSO,Putney Place, Tote) and 15 for Capsticks the tallest suggested height in Putney Town Centre.

Three blocks on the high street: M&S block/Lower Bidge Road, Superdrug block and cinema/ jubilee house block with acceptable heights up to 12 storeys and the boathouses with heights acceptable up to 6 storeys.

I could not work my way beyond these immediate sites but Roehampton, the old South Thames college and Sainsburys Werter Road(up to 6 storeys) along with other sites closest to Wandsworth town centre are included.

You picked up on the point that buildings with enough room for open spaces would almost guarantee maximum height but another worrying point is a little clause that says that these maximum heights could be exceeded in" Exceptional circumstances".

I would still send in comments Guy if you have a view on this as we were clearly told at the meeting that our answers would be accepted until the 16th Feb and could be sent in email form( so long as you include your name and address) or letter( addresses supplied on the other thread).

I would urge anyone else to go to the website this week end and read the Putney part of the site specific allocations document and see what the plans cover. It is one page per site.
