| Thanks, Caroline, the Post Office sourced photo met Post Office standards, although £4 for 4 photos is a tad expensive [the other 3 are now safely stowed away for some possible future use]. It’s been a tedious process, requiring 3 visits [and 3 lots of queues along the way]. [1] A visit only to discover that the Post Office has no forms – not sure whether this is a deficiency of the Post Office, or the Borough of Wandsworth [2] Then I tried filling in the form online. However, when I came to print it using Adobe, my installed version of Adobe did not agree with that on the website, and threw a wobbly. So I printed out that form in its incomplete state, completed the details by hand, only to find it rejected by the Post Office as it turned out to be the wrong version. That’s probably my fault, but it’s best to avoid this route [3] Then I printed out the 4 page yellow version [you don’t actually need the first 2 pages, I subsequently realised, as you can read that online – the ink costs must be considerable!], and filled that in by hand. The Post Office processed this version quickly and efficiently. |
