What a business! Especially as remaining Post Offices in our area are only walkable for the fit. The Wandsworth link kindly provided by James Dixon has a link to the londoncouncils.gov.uk website which  allows you to download the Application Form or, alternatively, fill it in on-line and then print it out to take to the P.Office. A problem I forsee is that the accompanying photo has to be to Passport standard, which I found quite tricky when I did mine recently and ended up having it done for me and paying more. I seem to remember that, in previous posts about a local Post Office, which shall remain nameless, they were prone to say that passport photos were not acceptable, with the agenda that people should redo them in the booth on their premises. So beware!
