Ah, Mr Hawkes. It's so easy to set you off! Of course it's far easier for you to attack me in response to my comments than explain the why Greenlanders would be concerned about becoming part of the USA - which I believe is the case.

You seem happy to accept the inconsistencies and hypocrisy of the US administration, and I assume don't really care about self-determination or democracy? I suppose it's easier launch a personal attack.(Are you sorry "Just top Oil" demonstrators aren't just gunned down provide you've got cheap energy?)

Yes, I knew what your response would be about the opera comment. For the record, I just like good music of all sorts. I'm just as happy to go and see younger mates playing in a band at the Hope and Anchor or similar pub music venue. Glad to have seen Zeppelin back in the 70s at Earl's Court and also to see John Paul Jones last week take a bow at the Wigmore Hall after the performance by Dame Sarah Connolly of the World Premier of his latest composition. And a few years ago I was happy to do Glastonbury one week and Glyndebourne a couple of weekends later - but I'd agree that is probably a bit elitist! (T-shirts to Dinner Jacket?)

Anyway, Mr Hawkes, thanks for rising to the bate and confirming your prejudices :-)  And avoiding the argument ...
