| What in your opinion, Nicholas, would constitute a’proportionate response’? A brief missile barrage, as happened in the past, while waiting for the next murderous assault by Hamas? Or should Israel have raped, tortured and killed a thousand Palestinians and taken another two hundred hostage? Any country attacked in the way Israel was attacked would seek to eliminate the terrorist threat once and for all. Unfortunately Hamas has chosen to use the population of Gaza as a shield, which has led to a tragic loss of live among civilians and widespread destruction. |
