Much indignation and hot air is expended on this Forum in attacking Israel for its supposed terrible treatment of its Palestinian and Arab neighbours. It is accused of being an apartheid state for example, though in fact non-Jews can be citizens of Israel and parliamentarians within its territorial boundaries. Not a benefit offered in return by most Arab states. No other country is subject to such a level of net-trawled scrutiny and criticism. One might be lead to think that every other country in the world apart from Israel exists in a state of harmony based upon peace, equality, and good governance. But....it is worth noting that as of 2018, the countries with the most slaves were: India - structured on a hierarchal caste system (8 million), China (3.86 million), Pakistan (3.19 million), North Korea (2.64 million), Nigeria (1.39 million), Indonesia (1.22 million), Democratic Republic of the Congo (1 million), Russia (794,000) and the Philippines (784,000). And everyone knows the level of democracy in these countries. Are the Israelophobic posters on this Forum ready yet to turn their attention away from Israel and give their emotional, intellectual and even marching support to the cause of easing the plight of the enslaved citizens of the countries listed above ? |
