| Oh, the nimby option. It is not that "growth" is being promoted as a good thing it is that the POPULATION is growing. Restricting development in one location will only require it to be greater in another. In fact, restricting development anywhere will only increase house prices, particularly in the area where the restrictions are applied. If developments such as Nine Elms were sufficient to meet the rising demand for housing, the prices would not have been going up. |
