| I wanted a taxi this evening as I had grocery shopping and there was no cab in the rank by Sainsburys. So I trudged to the top of the High St, waited for the lights to turn red, then dashed down to the first cab in the rank, hauling my shopping aboard before the next wave of vehicles came roaring along. It's very unsatisfactory that the rank is bang in the middle of traffic. |
