| At 6 o'clock last night there was practical gridlock and traffic madness in the area! Two cars were driving the wrong way down Chelverton Road and forcing cars going towards the High Street to move over into parking spaces to let them pass. I'd have loved to have seen their faces when they realised all they could do was to turn round at Charlwood and come back down Chelverton! Putney Hill and High Street was at snailpace. It took the 85 bus 15 minutes to get from the station to Lytton Grove. Good luck with the driving, I think you will need it! |
