obviously none of you have to push a relative around in a wheelchair, having the pavement and road at the same level is a God send for me. In many places the kerbs are just too high for me to push the wheelchair up/down over them and then it is me, who has to often walk quite a way to find either a level kerb or one that is low enough to get the wheelchair over. Sorry but it seems that I am one of the few who cannot praize this new scheme enough. |
