I would add that I believe the tarted up junction now between Westleigh and Putney Hill which has obstuctive metal bollards narrowing the road width, actually increases the likelihood of an accident. This with either another road user or pedestrian or indeed a collision with the bollard. I cannot see how this is an improvement. Recently I turned into Westleigh Ave. from Putney Hill and I was thankful that there was not another car trying to pull out of the turning as I turned in. |
