Oh dear, you still haven't managed to grasp it. Let me try to explain in simple terms. If I wanted to see how the price of strawberries varies over the years, I would pick a month - any month - during the year and compare prices *in that same month* for each year. (I wouldn't look at prices in different months unless I wanted to see how they varied *within* the year.) So in this case, it's completely irrelevant how the vehicle count varies between different times of the year because I'm looking at variations *over the years*. And your comment about my "selecting statistics" is not just wrong, it's all too typically snide, because those were the months when TfL carried out the count. |
