Horse mess on the pavement is bloody annoying and does warrant a "moan". The police expect dog owners to clean up after their dogs and thus the police should clear up after their horses, another example of do as I say and not as I do - it gets a bit boring. Yes, the riders should have got off and cleared that mess. It occurred in an area of relatively high footfall and as such will cause that mess spread by the
un-expecting walker and bus leaver. As far as 'it’s good for the roses' last time I looked there were no roses growing on that area of pavement.

I would accept if this mess occurred on the common, or a path leading to the common areas, but where this mess is leaves no logical explanation as to why that horse was there.

I wouldn’t be so annoyed by your comments, but this forum is full the most pointless subjects I have ever come across, the main posters complain and moan about the most minute thing, yet as soon as the police/park ranger is criticised it’s the persons fault for walking in it, you make me sick!!!
