Hello Cllr Torrington, thank you for the prompt and detailed response to my question.
As of this morning the pavements in Disraeli Road are solid ice, most people are walking on the road. As this is a major pedestrian route from the tube to the high street, may I ask why neither of the pavements is considered a priority for gritting?
Also, can you tell me why the pavement outside the library is gritted but the 20 yards or so of pavement between the library and the high street aren't? This seems very odd. many thanks.
