They certainly had gritted the pavement on the High Street from Norroy Road down to Chelverton last night (didn't walk further but I'm sure they wouldn't have stopped there!). 

I think they should make it the rule that we're responsible for the front of our properties. I watched a blind woman trying to negotiate the icey pavements earlier (of course I offered assistance!) and she said how difficult it is to teeter along on icey pavements when you can't see. It's hard enough when you can!
