My neighbour knocked down the wall, gate piers, gate and hedge that fronted her home on Clarendon Drive so that she could pave over her front garden and give herself a double parking space, totally out of keeping with the other 5 houses in her section of the road in this conservation area (they only have a single space).

We sent a letter of complaint with before and after photographs and, despite it being sent by recorded delivery, the Planning Department did not respond.

So I am quite surprised to learn that ''special architectural features and streetscape in conservation areas are protected''.  Has anyone told Wandsworth Planning Enforcement, because they don't seem to care or be bothered.
