Steven. They were Senator Bernie Sanders comments not mine, so I suppose you could respond to him on X with your corrections.

My point was there will likely be ongoing debates about the legality of this action in Congress. If it ever comes to impeachment I think that's for Congress not the Supreme Court.

I realise at one level it's being viewed as the arrest of a drug dealers. However,  the fact that Trump says he's now running Venezuela, wants US companies exploiting Venezuelan resources and has threatened the new acting president of Venezuela if she doesn't cooperate with him surely indicates really an annexation, even if temporary,  not purely a criminal matter.
