As far as I know, they wish to work with the current regime to obtain compensation for the assets confiscated by Chavez and to develop oil production, which will also benefit Venezuela." Why should they get compensation? It is well-known that the US had made very good profits out of Venezuela over many decades. How nice of the US to force her way into Venezuela to help develop oil production.
