Sue. Yes, Trump has got talks going which is good but I think there's suspicion of his actions because of his red carpet treatment of Putin, the aggressor, and his apparent bullying on occasions of Zelensky, who is only defending Ukraine's emerging democracy and is bound bumy the Ukrainian constitution in the negotiations. My understanding is he can't give territory away to Russia without the agreement of the Ukrainian parliament?

I agree with you that Putin, because of his vision of recreating a Russian Empire, makes achieving peace difficult, particularly after all the disinformation he's given the Russian people by cutting off media from sources external Russia for most people. A true peace is probably the end of Putin and him even having to face the ICC.
