Who says Europeans hate (I assume you mean) the US? One has to admire their scientific endeavours - NASA, NOAA, CDC - and their technology developments have benefited the world - the Internet, Unix, Smartphones, home computers. Great museums and art: the Smithsonian in DC, MoMA in NY, Dali in Florida; NY opera houses (relayed to the world) plus great modern music: blues, surf, walls of sound, folk, R&B, country, rap, ...

But surely it's ok to criticise? Many living in the US disagree with the advice on CDC that vaccines might cause autism, ICE plucking random people off the streets (ironic that Native Americans have apparently been targeted!), troops being deployed to US cities, cutting science budgets, ... and some US citizens prefer to live in Europe at the moment ...

Of course that's for US voters but remember the world's largest economy is actually California - a Democratic state!
