Mr Hawke. Fair point. Although it could be an aspirations they realise they have no hope of achieving? But I guess that's splitting hairs and too subtle speculation?

Although, Israel is in indirect talks with Hamas in Qatar presumably in the knowledge that Hamas have that in their charter? Are they hoping it might be removed if there's enough pressure from others involved in the negotiations?
