The LibDems have made their position clear that they want electoral reform to move in this direction. What are the pros and cons? Apart from the obvious one that they will be awarded far more seats than currently...doesn't it also mean that fringe parties such as the BNP will also gain seats and possibly in the future affect the balance of power in government? |
