Given that this action involves twelve countries it seems naive to think it's a quick decision to make this move. One pundit I heard on BBC news thought initial discussions on this might go back to Starmer's time as PM. Difficult to predict if sanctions will work or not, they don't seem to have worked with Iran. Of course, we also don't know what discussions may have been going on behind the scenes and perhaps hit a brick wall ... |
