| Squeeze squeeze squeeze - in more ways than one. An almost all round squeeze. After so many years of austerity and cuts and no pay rises in the public sector; workers not earning enough to live without resorting to food banks; workers not earning enough without claiming benefits as well; shortages of workers in various areas both public and private sectors causing stress on the other workers including that of time; backlogs in the nhs and other state sectors due to the pandemic; fragmentation of services causing lack of continuity and loss of smooth and efficient working practices creating frustration and wasted time in a time poor environment. Productivity snd creativity can be stifled without adaptability. Followed by a gap. Mind the gap. Mind that gap! Then there are more billionnaires than ever before and there are attendees at the WEF in Davos calling to be taxed more so that there is less of a gap. We need that summer music and the reason that it is so good is that we usually look forward to summer is we have other seasons to enjoy too. Stay cool and try and chill out! |
