| Jane: Ian was a delightful fellow and a wonderful source of local gossip, I used to call in regularly for a chat and an update! He spent his last few years at M&S Brighton and they told me how fond they were of him. Barbara: With reference to your response about the local solicitor: 'You might think that; I couldn't possibly comment!' (Spot on). Richard: You're correct, they weren't all junk shops, although I knew that the Planners would never check! I had forgotten about Terrys and the Post Office but have just remembered Parsons Green Reproductions who had several connected shops in the Lower, selling repro furniture, for which there was a huge demand in the Eighties. |
