| I attended the Planning Meeting last Thursday and got the distinct impression that the Councillors were more concerned with approving this application to avoid, as mentioned by Richard a costly appeal process. The Planning Committee were totally outfoxed by the Incipio/Blackrock and fully constrained by the the planning process and its classification of of a Drinking venue pretending to be a Restaurant. Does not install much faith in local politics, the quality of our local Councillors, nor in the planning system in general! |
