| It’s a fair challenge, Barbara, but I’m not convinced. People looking for a ‘big’ night out are far more likely to head to Clapham High Street, Wimbledon or The Kings Road all of which offer a far greater volume and variety of venues. I suspect the Palmhouse will have to rely on local residents for business, so if they really do hope for hundreds of late night revellers they’re likely to go under pretty quickly. Mary, to be clear, I wasn’t suggesting you were a persistent naysayer, however simply look up any old threads on this forum that relate to new bars or leisure activities and you’ll find countless posts all predicting domesday scenerios. |
